A picturesque route through the centres of Cozănești and Ortoaia villages. Along the way you can see the life and work of the farmers of these parts. In summer the main activity is haymaking, which means mowing, drying and storing the grass to feed the animals in winter.
The route starts on asphalt, on the road towards Vatra Dornei, for about 2 kilometres to the Dorna Arini town hall, where the road to Cozănești branches off. It continues for about 1 kilometre on asphalt through Cozănești village, passing the local church. It then leaves the asphalt and climbs a short but steep lane between the locals’ orchards. Once on the ridge, you can look down on both villages. From here the route follows the ridge, parallel to the “Pârâul Ortoii” road, through hay fields and pastures for 2 kilometres. A short descent through a spruce forest then brings you onto the Ortoaia village road, which leads back to the main road.
